The New England Center for Children’s (NECC®) race is a professionally timed 5K (3.1 mile) walk or run through scenic Southborough, MA.
The 5K Walk/Run will play a key role in NECC’s fundraising program. All money raised from this event will go directly toward The New England Center for Children’s Annual Fund. Support of the Annual Fund allows us to provide our students with the learning environment they need to achieve greater independence. The Annual Fund provides students with items such as playground equipment, new student cubbies, learning software and upgrades to residential facilities, as well as pool supplies and safety equipment for our newly completed Aquatic Center. Along with our award-winning curriculum, the Annual Fund helps to ensure that our students receive a strong foundation on which they can learn, grow, and thrive.
Come out and support NECC by walking or running! Registration is $25 until May 6 and $30 the day of the race. The first 600 registered runners and walkers will receive a race T-shirt.

The race begins and ends near Pilgrim Church, next to Southborough Town Hall, 17 Common Street, Southborough, MA. The race follows Clifford and Deerfoot Roads and returns up Middle Road.
Parking is available at the main NECC facility (33 Turnpike Road in Southborough, on Rte 9) with shuttles running to and from the race site throughout the day. Parking is also available at the Woodward School and the Southborough Senior Center on Rte. 85 in Southborough town center.
